Painting Love

PAINTING LOVE Alok Dasgupta was a rising painter having graduated from prestigious J.J school of fine arts, ten years back. He excelled both abstract, non-figurative and figurative, especially the beauty of female form. He had the seeds of both the Bengali school and the Progressive modern school but he was more famous for his fine aesthetic style, eyes, face and figure, creating magnetism. The magnet of beauty which pulls the observer even against his will. But he was tired of such painting which however fetched him good price and acclaimed. His canvas found place in elitist homes of men and women with a fine test which didn’t favour modern trends of abstraction and destruction, expressionist, cubist and surrealist. He was getting bored with his own style, refined and figurative paintings.
